

Big balance
What is the fundamental balance in terms of staying healthy on
physical, emotional, and spiritual level?
According to the Eastern medicine, that’s a balance between
consumption and elimination.
Everything we consume has to be eliminated.
Otherwise, they will be accumulated inside and problems arise.
There are four main organs for elimination.
Lungs, kidneys, large intestine and skin.
When we overconsume, those organs will get overwhelmed,
overworked and exhausted.
Yet, those organs keep working to maintain our health, but if we keep
taking in more than they can handle(eliminate), those organs will
eventually stop functioning properly for elimination.
And the accumulation will start inside our body.
One obvious way to store those waste appears as “weight gain”
Other locations where accumulation occurs are :
1 sinus
2 ear
3 breast
4 reproductive organs(uterus, prostate)
And overtime, those stored mucus and fat could turn into cysts,
stones, tumors and even cancers.
Usually before this happens, the body sends signals.
If we know how to listen, read the signals, and change our eating or
lifestyle instead of ignoring those signals and suppressing the
symptoms with pills and other symptomatic therapies, we can prevent
it from happening.
And we can keep this “Big Balance” of consumption and elimination.
So how can we nurture and give some break to those “organs for
elimination” instead of exhausting them?
There are some foods/drinks to produce too much waste that
overwhelm those organs.
So the main strategy is
“Not to consume too much of those waste producing foods and drinks”
** One of the main foods that is clogging our body and causing great
difficulty to organs of elimination is dairy foods such as milk, cheese,
butter, yogurt, cream.
These high fat/protein foods are biologically not meant to be
consumed by human being, so our body system cannot properly
eliminate them, and they tend to be stored in our body.
also there are some foods and remedies that nurture and strengthen
those organs.
