Healthy Body Temperature

37C or 98 to 98.5F

For immune cells, especially white cells, and “friendly bacteria” to
function well to ward off viruses and bad bacteria or diseases, the
body temperature should not be less than 37C or 98 to 98.5F,
and if your body temperature is chronically lower than that, , you
become more susceptible to diseases and illnesses.

When you catch a cold, for instance, your body naturally raises
the body temperature.
The cold virus weaken in high temperature and thrive in low
temperature.
So taking a pill to force your fever to cool down is basically
helping the viruses thrive.
That’s why it takes longer to recover if you take pill when you
have a cold.
But the problem is , if you are chronically hypothermia, your body
cannot produce heat to fight against viruses.

Also, even if you eat yogurt every morning for a health reason, if
your body temperature is no more than 96F, your body cannot
absorb the friendly bacteria well enough.

More importantly, cancer cells thrive on low temperature, too.
Lower than 35C or 95F.

Nowadays, more and more people have this problem due to poor
diet, exposing to unnatural environment ---air conditioned room,
heated room, and so on.

Common symptoms
When your body temperature is low.....

Headache
Tension and stiffness in the body muscle
Constipation
Insomnia
Back pain
Allergy
Heart attack
Stroke
Autonomic ataxia
Cardiac infarction
Cerebral infarction
Cancer

Causes of low body temperature

1 Dietary cause
Refined sugar, simple sugar cool down body temperature.
Eating out of season, especially eating too much “cooling foods”
in cold seasons, like eating leafy, green salad or tropical fruits in
winter is also a root cause of low body temperature.

Foods that originate in tropical climate, such as tomatoes, egg
plant, peppers, potatoes, and other tropical fruits. ----are good for
people who live in warm climate, or to eat in warmer seasons.

2 Unnatural environment
Being in an air conditioned place for a long period of time is
another cause of hypothermia. In fact, it’s ironic that we catch
cold even in summer nowadays!

3 others
Lack of exercise
Skipping meal or over-eating

Tips

1 Eat in season and avoid refined sugar

In cold seasons, eat root vegetables, round shaped vegetables,
warm hearty soup or stew instead of cold leafy salad , tomatoes,
or tropical fruits.
Avoid too much refined, simple sugar.
Especially for babies and kids, whose bodies are still growing,
feeding them sugar, out-of-season foods makes more susceptible
to allergy, diseases and illnesses.
Feeding kids or babies orange juice in winter is a big no-no!

2 Be accustomed to natural environment.

Do not be in an air-conditioned room(summer) or heated room
(winter) all the time, instead, go outside!
Or control the thermostat, and keep within 10 to 20 degree
difference of outside temperature.

3 Warm up your feet, cool your head.

For human-being, ideal body condition is “warm feet, cool head”,
so body system , including immune system function well and the
brain works well, and both body and mind are healthy.
But contemporary environment, air-conditioned or heated room,
makes opposite effect.
“cold feet, hot head”.
When the feet are cold, the blood around the feet cools down and
when it circulates, the whole body temperature cools down, too,
which leads to chronic hypothermia and dysfunction of immune
system.
Wear socks, massage your feet, take a foot bath if your feet are
cold.
In winter, instead of heating entire room, heat up lower part of the
room.
