Pantry Makeover
Macrobiotic, or whole foods cooking needs a little
kitchen/pantry makeover.
From basic cookwares to utensils, to some stockable(dried)
foods and condiments.
Some of the basic foods in the pantry
whole grains (brown rice, barley, millet, oats, quinoa etc)
Beans (azuki, chick pea, lentils etc)
Dried seaweed (kombu, wakame, hijiki, kanten etc)
Dried mushroom (shitake etc)
sea salt
unrefined sesame oil, olive oil
soy sauce (traditionally fermented)
miso (traditionally fermented)
umeboshi plum
vinegar (ume, brown rice etc)
kuzu root
Dried veggies (daikon, lotus root etc)

With all the necessity, all you need to do is practice, practice
and practice!
In the lesson, I will give you some instruction and you will cook.
Ask questions anytime during the lesson or after by
phone/e-mail.
Before you know it, you will find it very easy and fun to make a
healthy, balanced meal all by yourself : )
You can do the lesson regularly or seasonally, or whenever
you want.
A Basic Course (5 times or 10 times) to learn standard
macrobiotic cooking
In 5 or 10 consecutive lessons, you will learn basic and
standard macrobiotic dishes and cooking techniques.
From there, you can arrange and develop your own recipes!

(1.5 to 2 hours/ lesson), plus grocery.
