Tongue Speaks
In Asia, they say your tongue tells you a lot about you…..
According to Ayurveda, ancient Indian philosophy, different
parts of tongue correspond to different organs of the body.
Yes, similar to foot or hand reflexology.
The front one-third of the tongue,
---The lungs, heart, chest, neck ---upper parts of the body
The central third
---liver, spleen, stomach, pancreas ---middle part
The rear one third
---small intestine and colon ---lower part
And a discoloration, depressions, elevation or sensitivity of a
particular part of the tongue indicates disorder in the organ
corresponding to that area.
Also, a condition of tongue tells you all sorts of physical and
emotional imbalance.
For example:
A whitish tongue indicates mucus accumulation.
Maybe a sign saying “Avoid too much dairy food or refined
food!”
In fact, when I eat cheese or indulge myself with some dessert,
I always find a coating all over my tongue next morning!
And running nose and sneezing follows…..
Or if your teeth have left impressions along the margin of your
tongue, the nutrition is not effectively absorbed from food into
your body.
That means, you may be experiencing poor intestinal
absorption.
Simple “Self Tongue Reflexology” Tip
This is very easy.
Scrape your tongue every morning.
This removes overnight build-up bacteria and toxins on the
tongue, and stimulate all the organs in the body.
This also improves the sense of flavor of food and reduces
bad breath.
How to do it?
Extend your tongue, and gently scrape the entire tongue from
the back forward with a tongue scraper. 7 to 14 strokes each
morning with empty stomach.
Actually I do this every morning.
If you use tooth brush, do not brush down too hard because
that will push bacteria and toxin into the tongue.
