Whole, living food

When you buy brown rice next time, put a few pieces in a
warm water, and place it by the window.
And they will sprout in a few days!

Whole grains, vegetables, fruits, beans are still "alive" up
until the point when you cook.
even after you cook, those food still retains good amount of
living energy.

Eating those foods, as opposed to "dead food" such as
meat, fish, dairy, refined food, processed food,---will give us
tremendous energy.

Fermented food, such as miso, soy sauce, ume vinegar,
brown rice vinegar, mirin, umeboshi plum, natto, tempeh,
sauerkraut, etc etc--- produce friendly bacteria and creates
healthy flora and fauna inside intestines, and leave little
room for bad bacteria or viruses to enter your body.

That's why Macrobiotic emphasize eating whole, living food.
